Motoring fines

Has anybody incorrectly been charged with a motor offence (I know a number of people who have). Should I challenge it, and how? Or should I just pay up and treat it as a cost of living in Doha.  The offence was speeding at 2.30am, I have never been out after midnight, sad but true.

Quite often. Treat the fines like a tax. Often however the time is just wrong.

maybe its 2:30 p.m. not am. How many have you found who have been incorrectly charged. I've seen few who doubted the charges but when they were asked to refresh their memories they quite clearly understood where they had made the mistake.

Just beware, if you dont wear seatbelt while driving, talk on the mobile phone while driving , the friendly traffic police standing on the roundabout would as well be noting down your number..

They have the picture of your car with plate number.. maybe its their mistake or its 2.30 PM instead of 2.30 AM.
