MOTHERS LOVE
When you were a year old, she fed you, bathed you. You thanked her by crying all night long.
At two, she taught you to walk. You thanked her by running away when she called you.
At three, she made all your meals with love. You thanked her by tossing your plate on the floor.
At four, she gave you crayons. You thanked her by coloring the dining table.
At five, she dressed you for holidays. You thanked her by plopping in the nearest.
At six, she walked you to school. You thanked her by screaming, “I am not going.”
At seven, she bought you a basketball. You thanked her throwing it through next-door neighbor’s window.
At eight, she handed you an ice-cream. You thanked her dripping it all over you lap.
At nine, she paid for you piano lessons. You thanked her by never ever bothering to practice.
AT 10, she drove you all day from swimming, basket ball, to one party after another. You thanked her by not looking back after getting out of the car.
At 11, she took you and your friends to movies. You thanked her by asking her to sit in a different row.
At 12, she warned you not to watch certain television shows. You thanked her by waiting until she left the house.
At 13, she suggested a haircut. You thanked her by saying, “You have no taste.”
At 14, she paid for a summer camp. You thanked her by not writing even once.
At 15, she came home tired looking for a hug. You thanked her by having your bedroom door locked.
At 18, she paid your fee, drove you from campus to playground. You thanked her by saying goodbye outside the gate (so that you wouldn’t be embarrassed in from of your friends).
At 20, she asked you if you were seeing any one. You thanked her by saying, “It’s none of your business.”
At 25, she helped you pay for the wedding. You thanked her by moving half way across the country.
At 30, she called you with some advice over the baby. You thanked by telling her, “Things are different now.”
When you were 45, she fell ill, she needed you. You thanked her by reading aloud the burden parents become to their children.
And then one day she quietly died and everything you did came crashing down, like thunder on your heart.
If she is still around never forget to love her more than ever, and if she’s not, remember her unconditional love because you have only one mother in your lifetime. Planning to surprise her with special gifts? Just make sure you are there for her whenever she needs you…..

A mother’s love is patient and forgiving when all others are forsaking, it never fails or falters, even though the heart is breaking.(hr)
