In Dubai on the Sheikh Zyaid Road there are signs displaying a maximum 120kph and minimum 60kph. May be there should be also introduced here..

Guys I strongly agree with you about the slow moving punks who just hog the fast lane..

All I am saying is that where as the slow moving guys should move in the middle or right lanes but the one who is observing the speed limit should not have give way to the flying Qatari (on this matter flying Kasarat)..lol

ukengqatar, it was not because of my speed that somebody hit me from my back, but it was because of the the other slow driver who was driving one car ahead me.

it was a four car accident and i was the second car from front.

so it really sucks because of the slow drivers sir...

Most of them will go slow because they are using those cell phones!

Yesterday, while driving in the fast lane, there was one Qatari kid driving super slow in my lane while in the cell phone.

What I did was flash him and blow my horn at him, he did signal me to go around him, I did signal back to him, "You do it" by keeping my horn on him.

He moved to the slow lane, no turn signals, just drifted into it.

These people say that they are safe drivers. But shit on them they are the cause of most of the road accidents. I really caught with an accident because of such nasty slow drivers in the speed lane.

They should be educated that the speed limit in the road is to follow if they are in the speed lane and to give way to those who are in the mission of speed thrills.

I must admit that some of the design of the curves on the bridges around mafraq interchange were quite tight and people travelling fast frequestly lost control and hit the side Protection Parapets..

The name Speed came from my Speed Driving ... i used to race in UAE when I was single ;-) There was a time I was black listed in Dubai and Abu Dhabi Traffic dept. since I used to race mostly with locals (some of them were from Royal families) so i used to get my name out of black list :-)

Now since married and have kids yes i don't race or Drive fast any more...

But If I see Nissan Altima on the Street I race with tha person ... and you know who is that wolf:-D

Firose...I wud agree with Ksarat on this.Just change lane to avoid the irritating flashing and u wud not loose anything by giving way.Speaking of rules will not work here.

What wud u do if the guy behind hits u purposely.It happens here.U can never gauge the stupidity of the person driving car here.They drive as if there is no tommorow.

After seeing the 2 accidents right in front of my eyes one day after another in Markhiya..I wud say just be on the defensive side..Remember we have a family back home.Do not put urself at a risk.

Speed reminds of the Highway between Abu Dhabi and Dubai..

If you are under the limit on that road, and someone from behind is flashing, if there is way to give, go ahead and change lane and give way...and in the first place, as I say, you are going at your pace and your own leisure and are following the limits, use the other 2 lanes...or the other lane and try to avoid the FAST LANE unless u want to overtake or go fast...!!!

Talking about fast line....you know what happened yesterday?? I was goin 75km in 80 limit rd...

when I entered from the R/A I didn’t see any car behind me...suddenly from nowhere an idiot started flashing his light... I gave him way and gave him a WTF look! and guess what happened?? lol he followed all the way driving parallel to me..honkin nonstop till I looked at him and he want me to roll down the glass and take his business card….Why the hell was he in such hurry..if he had so much time to waste..lol

Next time I wont bother moving to the next track…lol
