Money transfer from Ghana !!!!!!
I will tell you a story about what happen to me last night, I was checking my yahoo email that I never use before just rarely so I find a new email form unknown contact so I read it and I find that Mr.(????) is explaining to me his problems with the commercial bank of Ghana and he can not clear an amount of 4,250,000$ from his account due to some problems and he is in need of this money because he is sick, so he is requesting me to send him my personal details and my banking account number so he will transfer me the money then he will come here and give me 30% of the amount, after I finish reading his email and normally am not reading this kind of spam emails I decide to reply to him (believe me just for fun, I know it is not real) but the surprise was that 10 minutes after my reply I receive a call from strange number starts with (+2332******) and he is introducing him self to me, telling me that I have to feel ok because this transaction is totally safe and that I have to follow his instruction and fill a form and forward it to the Head office of the bank, then I decide to ignore all of this but he keep on calling he wake me up at 6am this morning, Please advice did it happen to any of you, because I am becoming crazy how he match my email address with my mobile number because that address am not using it at all I just was checking it accidentally.
i know that i can give them an empty account,, but what if someway they can make a transactions under ur name and ur account, i think these people can do anything,, what is bothering me how they match my mobile # with my email........
but i hope everybody to be careful from those ppl
I get mails of this sort almost on a daily basis !! I choose to ignore them.. but i keep wondering - what sort of a scam are they trying to pull? I mean - ok - lets say U give them your account number.. and what if the account is empty? And just by gettin an account number - how do they rob you? Ok - its a credit card number - I can understand. I may sound dumb - but just curious.
And yes - by the way - I did once respond to the mail - just to see how far it would go.. exchanged a few mails - then lost interest and just told them to bugger off! didnt hear from them after that.
