The mommy mafia?

By sabbiabella

So, from what I hear, there is a group of posters on this site that are called the "mommy mafia". Appearantly, they are people who THINK they "monitor" the site. I wasn't aware that anyone monitored this site. The only monitoring that I've seen is people that tell others not to swear. Personally, I cuss like a sailor(until my son starts talking).  Other than that, no monitoring.

My question is: Who are the mommy mafia? I have been accused of being one...so who else is?

It looks like there are a lot of hot heads around. And I thought it was winter.

I insulted Bajesus only because he insulted me first. I have nothing against him at all.

I insulted you, Mulie, because you insulted me first. I have nothing against you.

It's just the way I am. If someone calls me stupid, I call them shit. If someone call me a bitter old with, I call them Bipolar crazy psicos.

Maybe I shouldn't react next time someone insults me. Seems to backfire.

But if you say your opinions in a civilised way, then I will respect you.

Sorry that I lost respect for some of you. I couldn't help it at the time.

And mulie, no body drove you away. You left because you wanted to. I wonder why you are still here

Muliebriamania, For the next QL meeting you could sit on my table close to me. I will listen to you as a Priest taking your confession for the day.

Make sure you buy me, all the free double shot of brandy to keep me going on.

lol...when i was younger, i used to get into physical fights all the time. I look back on that like what the hell was i doing?? I wouldn't dream of doing that now. UNLESS i was defending my child or myself. At that point, my husband would jump in.

You're born, you take s**t. You get out in the world, you take more s**t. You climb a little higher, you take less s**t. Till one day you're up in the rarefied atmosphere and you've forgotten what s**t even looks like. Welcome to the layer cake son.

oooooooooooohhhh fight fight fight fight fight

Mulie you do have a way of winding people up the wrong way, why not go to one of the frequent QL nights out and meet the people you upset.

I could care less if you disagree. You're entitled. You're rude when you do it, that's what i don't like.

Muliebriamania...for the low price of 25riyals a day i will gladly sit on this website 24hours a had and attack anyone and everyone who tries to say anything negative about you!

And yes i am that deperate for the money! Give me a try!

Really Liana, cause it seems everytime I disagree with you guys, you attack me. Perhaps you should rethink your defintion of adult as well as reexamine your own behaviour.

Sometimes people are going to disagree with you or say things that you might not like. You lot seem to fly off the handle whenever that happens. Calm yourselves and realize that just because someone is disagreeing with you doesn't mean they are attacking you personally.

trip was nice thanks, Melbourne really looks beautiful in the summer.

Mulie- the reason this is a site for adults is because we attack issues rather than people. A lot of your posts seem to make personal accusations when you don't like the argument put forward.

there is a mommy mafia and many of us are part of it.any one of us women with tiny tots and concerend about their well being is a part of it.

While I think along the same lines as Butterfly when it comes to the car seat thing, I disagree with what was said to Bajesus.

There are many reasons to talk like that to people. Perhaps you should read some of butterflys or novita's posts.

But I'm sorry if I made you upset. I will try and sugarcoat my answers from now on.

Like I said before, it is the WAY you give your opinion. Saying things like the Sheikha doesn't want to here anything from a know it all american or don't be so naive to think that you will change the law. There are nicer ways to say things.

I like to hear other peoples opinions because sometimes they can see something in a different way and it may change my opinion. The world would be dull without different views.

When you say things like you did, you're damn right I'm going to come back at you and question it. There is no reason to talk like that to anyone. I am defensive when someone says such things.

And what exactly makes this an adult site? The way your rude to anyone you don't like or has a different opinion to you? The way you drive away anyone from the site who doesn't "fit in" to your little group?

Liana, it was them complaining about me, not the other way around. Perhaps you should try reading the threads.

Liana...are you back in Qatar? If so, how was your trip?

Oh yes...I monitor this site all day long. It's all I do. It's all I want to do for the rest of my life. Please.

Thank you Liana.

Mulie i'm so glad you're not Australian. I would be ashamed if you were.

Rather than complaining about the women on this site, again, perhaps you should go back to QBB and leave us adults in peace.

Muliebriamania

Or Perhaps you are getting so defensive because you know that what I say is true???

By Muliebriamania• 14 Jan 2007 08:54
Muliebriamania

Does it not seem odd Sabia that you post a whole thread over one thing, that could quite possibly be just my opinion? Are you trying to control people's opinions on this site? I think there is a Mommy mafia on this site, I said it, I don't see why that opinion deserves a whole thread, but so be it.
