Immigration office opens in Wakrah

The Ministry of Interior has opened an office at Wakrah for passport and immigration services, local Arabic dailies reported yesterday.
The new office is to offer all services rendered by the Passport and Immigration Department. Though the present facility is temporary, a permanent building is to be completed in future.
Wakrah is second to Doha in terms of population density, hence the opening of the service centre,
in line with the Ministry’s strategy of establishing such centres at densely populated areas.
