Mini Cooper is a nice car, small outside but roomy inside, lots of leg room ang comfort.

ALL I can say is good luck in your search. I thought about getting a brand new one then thought about the fact that I would more than likly get to attached to it and couldn't take it home with me without getting it converted which would cost more money. so i'm still searching for a srcond hand one to save a bit of money so I can take it home with me.

I like also the Cooper S Cabrio. I wish I am rich. I could easily buy the brand new one.

Right now, I have to settle in finding for a "second or third hand" mini. Not the cabrio, but, just the cooper.

ME I'm still looking for one, I want a Cooper S cabrio second hand at the moment though most second hand ones on the market are all hard tops apparently the cabrio are hard to come by second hand and as soon as they get them (or I find out about them) they are already sold.

Looked at getting one here bit on the pricey side for a new one about QR-/ 155,000 and all the latest models being brought in to Qatar have triptronic gear shifts (auto and manual in one)If you talk to Al Fardan Motors they do also sell second hand ones which are much cheaper. As for the parts, funnily enough after enquiring ataround found out that parts are no more expensive than a lot of your Japanese models here and the actual servicing of the cars (using l Fardans service centre) is heaps better than most of them as well.

I hate Mini. The 1st car I bought in 1985. Gave me constant Headache ;(

i just like the style of the mini cooper/cabrio...

i'm not into which one (manual or auto) is faster.

but, can u share to me why manual is better than automatic?

MINI its a good car nice performance, spare r lil expensive but .... overall it a good car i prefer automatic gear is much better.....!!

mini is mini dude... spare parts not much expencive..

buy mini cooper S Manual gear and enjoy. fast car good handling and good braks.

Are the prices of spare parts here in Qatar very expensive?

Small car, huge wheel base (the same as a landrover) and plastic interior. Weigh that up against the excellent BMW build quality (apart from interior) and reliability. If you have the choice go for manual against auto as better performance.

Air con not so good for the summer months.
