I met with a similar situation where some one hit my car while it was being parked. It was a very long process but I can guide you.

You can call me at 66043637.

Yours and his insurance company would be involved and eventually his company has to pay if the fault is not yours.

To my knowledge, if the fault is placed totally on you, then you will not get anything from your insurance company and the cost of repairs must be borne by you since you have a third party cover. The Police Report you will be getting will provide all the details of whose fault it was and will also give the name of the insurance company that has insured the other driver's vehicle if the fault is on the other's side.

After the Maroor finishes its investigation, they will issue you a paper which you will take to the insurance company of that truck driver if the fault has been put on him. The paper from the Maroor would give all the details. The insurance company of that driver's vehicle will give a document which will allow you to have your vehicle repaired at one of their approved garages. Some insurance companies ask you if you have any particular garage in mind where you would like to have the repairs done. Once you put the vehicle in the garage, keep following up regularly on the repairs. Most garages do not meet their deadlines and they usually late by two days at least. On the other hand, if the Maroor says both parties are at fault or you are at fault, then you approach your insurance company with the Police Report. Trust this helps.

did they give you any paper? if not then you need to come after the informed days and if you have his plate number, they will get its details through the system,

Yes you need the paper as every garage will ask if you tell them you met an accident.
