Merweb Friday Buffet
As QL's official food critic, I thought it only fair to pass judgment on my visit to the Merweb Hotel for Friday Brunch.
Having used a QGrabs offer the price was down from QR120 to QR60 per person so that was nice.
My booking that took me two days to get through on the phone to place was not recorded Grrrrrr.... but I still got a table.
Menu was a bit restricted compared to other buffets, but the quality was good. Very good in fact. The children's play area was busy and effective, the staff were friendly and helpful (but perhaps a bit dim at times) and the water was free (big plus mark for that). The lamb curry was stunning and my favourite.
Desert wasn't quite as good as I was hoping for, and the Tiramisu was rubbery to the point I did not want to eat it. But other items were ok.
Would I go back? At QR 60 no problem. At QR 120..... well I'm not so sure. It was ok and I may go back, but I think I would rather add a little extra and head elsewhere. But on a tight budget... yeah give it a go ;)

Thats a brilliant combo... when the chai is half.... only half the biscuit can get dipped in it... and the biscuit will not crumble into the chai...

Rizks Kindly add cutting chai to the menu as its time of inflation... and recession... I hope you will look into the matter see the matter in detail and will take immediate measures... lol

in couple of weeks, I am going to offer 'Friday Punch' at my emporium and m sure you all gonna love it !
Some of the main mouth watering dishes are:-
-Stuff Porota (Potatoes, Keema etc. )
- Karak with mint served with plain Porotas
- Good Day biscuits or Parle G biscuits
- Roasted Poppadums !
