Medical Card for Baby

Hello All,

I wanted to know what is the procedure for getting a medical card for my baby ( 4mnths).My wife and baby landed in doha last week and they are yet to have their RP stamped. But i heard that the baby does not need the RP to be stamped to get medical card.
I do have a medical card in my name.

Please let me know how the procedure goes for babies.

I've taken my daughter to the local Hamad health center many times, and they have never asked for a card. Just have with you your RP and maybe her passport. I would think you could get in with no problems. Maybe show them your Hamad card. She's over a year now and we've never had a card for her, never needed one. I get her vaccines there, since it's free!

yes I meant the same (HMC Health Card). The thing is i need to continue the vaccination process for the baby and that cannot wait till i get the RP process done for her. So i was trying to understand if that can be done without the RP?

Hi...did you mean HMC health card? I believe the RP is required together with the passport and photos.
