Marry????

the only reason for a pre-nup is if you intend on having kids.

When I got married, we signed a pre-nup say what we went into the marriage with, we went out with, and whatever was accumulated in the marriage, was to be split. Thats fair...

However there needs to be a clause about children, and what the partner should provide for the kids in the event of divorce.

I wouldn't need him to take care of me, but definately the kids....

A week before I'm gonna ask...

I'll say you know if I ever ask you to marry me I want a pre-nump...

So when I ask the next week...

It will be fresh on her mind...

And she can make an informed decision...

A contract signed before he marriage that highlights how money would be split in the case of a divorce...they are not mandatory, but are popular when one spouse (example a celebrity) marries a poorer person....just off the top of my head like Britney and Kfed.

Vegas you woke up early just to write this thread.Why? Don't you love her? In case you really want her to sign prenupt it's up to you..but tell this to her in a nice way that she can easily get whatever you are thinking or planning.But this means you don't want to share what you have and you don't want to share everything she has..

In our enlightened times, you are probably going to live with the girl before you marry her.

Get an agreement in place when you buy a place together.

Then the Wedding proposal can be as romantic as you like.

Some countries give equal rights to civil partners as married couples, probably not here tho.

if she says yes ...

say will you marry me and sign here and here and initial here

Well, ask her to marry you, but bring up the prenup maybe when you start planning the wedding and talk about moving in together.
