Maid beaten to death by employer

Man’s inhumanity to man. Hope he gets the death sentence – but I somehow doubt it.

A Kuwaiti man used a stick to beat his Asian housemaid to death just after she was brought into the wealthy Gulf emirate to work for a local

Doctors suspected the maid had been beaten when she was brought in serious condition to hospital in Kuwait City although her employer said she was ill.

“Doctors told the police that the maid died because she had been beaten as she had no health problems,” the Arabic language daily Al Watan said.

“When they questioned her employer, he confessed to have beaten her with a stick on the grounds she refused to work for him.”

Maid abuse seems to be rampant out here in this parts but someday soon it will be time for this abused workers to hit back and then even the horror movies on TV might look very mild in comparison. They call it Karma

Maybe she committed suicide Brit? Beat herself to death. And then cast a magic spell using sorcery to make the innocent employer confess to the crime, even though he's innocent.

Or maybe the police killed the maid to frame the employer and extracted a confession under duress.

There are many more scenarios that I could offer which are much more likely than the sorry story of an employer beating his asian maid to death.

I mean really, when was the last time you heard a story about an Adian maid being beaten to death by her employer in the Gulf. It simply never happens.

But if her family accepts blood money the murderer won't be punished, right?

Brit, We don't have any first hand experience of getting killed by somebody or vice versa , so it's difficult to have the actual feelings after that type of tragic event ...... May be he was extremely frightened & didn't know how to express the real course of accident .... there may be some other events inbetween he was not aware of .... hope police reaches to the bottom ...... after through investigation .....

MM: "Hope employer was free from any fear when making the confessional statement " - Are you suggesting that the police forced the confession ?

If she was brought in to work why would she refuse to work. Or was the 'work' she was asked to do different than the 'work' she was told she was being brought in for. And how would she work now that she is dead. While beating her didnt he realise when he has gone too far. May she rest in peace and the employer sent to her so that he can now try differently for her to work for him. What kind of human beings are these people, for sure not the kind I understand.
