Lottery Winner
PIERRE, S.D. – It has the makings of a Hollywood script: A young rancher struggling to eke out a living in one of the poorest corners of the nation claims one of the biggest undivided jackpots in U.S. lottery history — $232 million — after buying the ticket in a town called Winner.
As he sported a black cowboy hat and a huge grin, 23-year-old Neal Wanless accepted his giant-sized Powerball check at a ceremony Friday.
Wanless, who is single and lives with his mother and father on the family's 320-acre ranch near Mission, said he's going to buy himself a bigger spread, repay the kindness other townspeople have shown his family and spend his newfound fortune wisely.
"I want to thank the Lord for giving me this opportunity and blessing me with this great fortune. I will not squander it," he said.

*** What would you do if it was you? ;P ***
CB... I would do something like that too... that is if i survive the heart attack it may cause... :D
And now i say, keep dreaming... its free. :)
I wouldn't buy a ticket.
First, I wouldn't claim the winning ticket right away. (Media would be ALL OVER to cover the story and calls from relatives and lawyers)
Then, I would go to South America and chill for awhile to plan and look for a place to retire, in the states.
I would also research investments and find safer, smarter places to put the money for a better return.
In addition, I would make plans for donations to my favorite charities.
Finally, I would wait for the last day to claim the prize and execute the plan.
I love dreaming. ;)
Same here, take care of family, and then pay off all our bills, move back home and build a house in the Colorado Rockies!
Motherhood...The hardest job you'll ever love! : )
Much the same as him. Treat those who've been good to me in the past, hand a share to the family and bugger off to retire somewhere nice :o)
