I am a Chinese Lady from China, will be working in one of the hotels in Doha very soon. I would like to make some friends here in order to know something about Qatar.
Doha is a beutiful country but limited entertainments. The weather is getting cold now that will stay couple of months may be. The summer is extreme but since you are going to work in the hotel would not be a problem. Because the hotel is fully airconditioned and the buses/cars too airconditioned. Though most of the people are expatriates it is easy to get friends to help you. Locals are also well behaved. You will see many Chinese too in Doha as business people and visitors.

You will like Doha. Is unique and very moderate. You as a woman and a foreigner in a Arab state have a serious challenge of learning their culture and behaviors that acceptable in their culture.
