i wanna get some information about living in qatar with family, I'm living alone here and i wanna bring my family here....so what do you think? another information....i'm working as rotational system...28 days on 28 days off, so I back in my home country every month.
one lebanease man has sold his shop to one saudian guy, the new owner don't know how to manage this shop and lost a lot of money.....he called the lebanese and told him ur shop isn't a good affair and i need some advices. the lebanese start to show to him how to sell his products. one lady enter to the shop: Hello!! can I get half kg od apple please? the lebanese said: Oh!! the apple wants apple!! the lady feels flatted and said give me one kg then with a wide smile. the second client was a lady too: she asked for some sweets. the lebanese as professional answer, is it true!! sweety lady wants sweets!! with large amile she took a lot of sweet. very good success for the lebanese....the saudi was present and following all details.....the lebanese said now is ur turn. okay!! the saudian man said!
one fat lady comes to the shop and wants to buy a bottle of milk. the saudian said!! is it true cow wants milk!!!......
different people..different opinion. ..maybe your colleagues just want to get away for 'awhile' from family..sort of unwinding..as in 'rotational' basis. depends really!
...but why my colleagues who they're working a static system (with their family) want to be like me!! they said if we have this option we'll change for rotational system....i'm really lost....
D**n! i'd love to be in a company where you have 28 days work and 28 days off. If thats the case, dont bring ur family. Just get on a plane and fly home every month, and thats it!
I have a friend who's father also works in an oil rig, working 28/28, and boy he is such a jetsetter. No homesickness for him and family for that 20+ years he is working that way!

my opinion..bring them here...having them closer to you lessens your stress ( i think so)

tnx to all....
I think it's batter to bring your family here.
You will get peace .
So, my suggession is to bring your family as early as possible.
I think your salary is good enough to live a ususal life here
bye
ram....the compagny will provide everything, house....etc.
paul! when ur daugther tells u, dady i wanna see u now! how u can be happy my friend....
panda, are you not happy 28 days here and 28 days there?
what exactly is your question...just a bit of clarification is required...on what aspects do you want clarity of information..
You need around USD $2000 to USD $5000 for accomdation as minimum
if you have kids you gonna pay around USD $ 5000 per year (3 or 2 semisters) for each kid if you are aiming good schools
