open-minded society:my friend and her boyfriend were sitting in one of Barcelona's bars, among tens of other visitors, having beer, and enjoying a beautiful view of night Barcelona from the top of the hill. They were sitting at the tall stools, by the bar counter, while most of people were sitting around by the lower tables... so my friend and her BF were very well displayed...  BF gave a warm hug to the girl, keeping her close to him, she put her head on his shoulder, he gave her a long kiss.....no bloody one of the visitors didn't even turn his/her head..

Tequilagirl. It's not like what you think. You can still go anywhere, inside the car and drop you to your house but please don't try to atrract the attention of others by doing something unusual or public display of affection. It's just a phone call and you will be in hot water. Live with self control and within the limits. We should respect the rules and conservative feelings of the people. We are just visitors here and we should behave accordingly. Enjoy with caution.

yes, you can be with him in the car and he can drop you off home.... as I've said, as long as you are not doing PDA.. it should be fine... and also always bring your ID card with you :)

Yah, perhaps they want to eliminate and prohibit all such activities that might lead to something immoral. Although it is not all that strict here.

good to hear that.. so even if your friend is dropping you at home it ok right? if only both of you is in the car? is it still ok? or you need to go separate ways after coffe or something... these things makes me sad you know... :( it's so boring here and you can't even go out with a friend sucks!

Nope.. i just heard a lot of aweful stories regarding this rule.. is this really true? we can't go out with someone who is unrelated to us? even an officemate?
