lets get united (canada and USA)

Since the first forum was such a success, i thought why not borrow the topic and go west. I think canada and the USA should unite. Why not? we have a small army full of officers but no soldiers and the US has a huge army full of soldiers and less generals. second, when, and i mean when, quebec do finally seperate from the rest of the country, it will make more sense for us to be united and become the biggest country in the world. third, with all the gays in canada and all the consrvatives in the USA, this way it will all balance out and someone like georges bush will never be elected again and canadian movies will be more interesting to watch for us straight people. Its just a thought, discuss it among your selves and i will be back for my final thoughts

If I knew what cutesrk meant in half his posts I'd be better able to make sarcastic comments at him. However I am reduced to just commenting on his desire to bomb Westerners. :(

As united countries, we could have our first war against Quebec! On a separate point, does anyone on this forum have any idea what cutesrk means or says on any of his posts? When he puts the word "important" in the title does that just mean incomprehensible?

As a good Canadian, who has worked in the US I'd really be against that idea. It just doesn't seem to fit. I think we already have good relations. The US should probably look at some of the other countries they've dealt with and aim to imporve those relations.

And when Alberta separates from the rest of the country, we'll be like the Qatar of the West; More oil, gas and money than we know what to do with.

If you are mentioning the India & Pakistan then you have to modify the thoughts (as i know USA & Canada already have good relations) You have to think about the Options

lets get united (USA & Iran)

lets get united (USA & Korea)

lets get united (USA & Russia)

May be

lets get united (USA & Rest of the World)

Can It merge when the west is not willing to accept the comments and other remarks from third world countries like India.....

Ages before rich western nations used to treat blacks as slaves and asians as slaves. Today when the monetary and life styles are merging there is a compulsion to accept the derogatory lifestyle.. But there is no mutual reciprocity by the west.

The US and Canada should not merge. I would get a headache listening to all the people say "eh" after every word.....

Well, with all the Bush bashing that is going on these days, my wife told me yesterday that she was going to tell everybody she is from Canada anyway! Better than taking the abuse. I'll join in if I can have some reassurance that I won't be called a cheese head! Really, we have several good Canadian friends and find their attitudes and sense of humor refreshing.

Why not join the two countries together? Europe is heading that way with their common currency and the European Union.
