We've just had a man going around our compound in a KSA registered car asking for money for an orphanage!!!!Spouted that it was Ramadan etc etc Stragely enough he said he would accept any currency......I said I had no money.....He also asked what the nationality of the next door neighbour was!! Not sure I'm exactly comfortable with this!!!!
Saudis collecting alms. Cuteness.
hope this will help people ....
Begging is a bad habit. you can report begging cases to 2347444-2347483. Please ask deserved people to approach charities in the country.

You are way out of line here mister
Even MOI have posted warnings on Twitter of not giving alms to these so called beggars.
Its not legal!
call police...
its very common with Saudians... most of them ask for alms ! i'v spotted many saudian on road asking money for fuel to go back saudi..lol
you should've reported that person! its illegal ofcourse!
Call 999!
ofcourse its not legal. In addition he is trespassing. Take the number of the car and call the police....
Call the police. If they are Saudis they come from paradise so need need for earthly money.
If it's on your compound, contact security immediately. He has no business whatsoever being there.
There are plenty of registered official charities in Qatar that do great work for those in need. Better to donate to them rather than anyone else.
I hope there is a hidden camera to film me sending them packing. I give charity of my own free will not because somebody is doing the rounds earning more money than me in a day from the proceeds.
to see people's reaction and make fun of them, so you better pay these people so that you will look a kind person with good heart on TV
If I were you, I'd mention it to the compound management.
This one was knocking on all the doors!!!!
Oh yes I remember the urine bag at Megamart a few years ago lol Didn't fall for that one!!!
Once near Doha Clinic and once near Jarir bookstore..The strange thing is that both were with Saudi registered cars and with their wives (or gfs) setting beside them and totally covered (I mean covering the face too). Both were claiming that they lost their way and they need money for petrol.
AB is not a troll, and I have no reason to doubt her. Besides I come across this kind of begging myself. And yes it's against the law.
From what I know, it is illegal. Happens a lot during Ramadan though. You can find them at parking spaces in front of shopping centers, restaurants etc. You might also encounter people with IV drops, seeping wounds, and urine bags...it's all fake. Just walk away.
actually it's perfectly true......I don't tend to waste my time posting a new thread if it's made up....
Exactly!!! That's what I thought!!!
How come security let him in?
miserrr.."grrrr"
