It all happened too quickly,
It was over too fast.
We’ve come a long way,
From our time in the past.

You know that I love you,
You have a place in my heart,
But it’s time to divide
And its time to depart.

We’ve still got the memories
Of the special times we shared
The ups and the downs,
When you were the ones that cared.

You know I’m always here for you
If you need a helping hand
I’ll be your lifeline. Your friend,
Your two feet on which to stand.

I wish you the very best,
In everything that you do,
Just don’t you forget me.
I know I won’t forget you.

You’ve always been great friends to me,
You stand out from all the rest,
This poem comes from me to you,
