Hey Pope,

I would love to try the CDs.....I think I prefer going to classes, but I have studied on my own before & it was very fulfilling.

I do have the time, as my work hours won't be too bad (when I actually start) & I will have the time.

So...can I also have them delivered :-)

Guys stand down, I just got them today.. I'm just screening the course and materials, my submersion into the Arabic language has not started yet. I'm passing my self, so I won't burn out on the first trial.

I think none of the words we've spoken so far was on the CD... so thot I'll try a different approach... ;-)

You also have a 10-word per week plan! very well!

Practice with Arabic speakers here, if you like.

I'm tired, because I'm already clocking 9 hours in the job and 4 more to go. Between taking care of my job and QL stuff, mentally I'm not receiving any comprehension of the language in those cd's. I have to be more fresh and rested, my energy level is for the rest of the night.

In other words my focal point is diverted..

I'm only trying to learn ten words per week not the whole language overnight.. LOL

How difficult is it? you said you started to get tired.

Are you trying to practice it with others, or not yet?

They have conversational steps. Such a s pronunciation and common communication sentences. Is pretty good. I started to listen to them, but I'm getting tired...

Key question if learning will be through conversation and tapes.

Barely anyone touch on that.
