leaking ceiling in accomodation

We have a leaking ceiling in our accommodation. We submitted this complaint to the building administrator last Ramadan season but up to now nothing has been done. Twice they said they will send a maintenance crew to check, once they said they will personally come to check but up to this moment not a single shadow arrived in our doorstep. I took the building caretaker to see our room twice but he only gave me the number of the building administrator. On Our last communication this august, he raised his voice on me for just requesting a deduction on the rent up until the problem is fixed saying that our rent is already low. Worst is that he is telling us to remove our partition on the sala, something that was directed only to us while almost all on every floor of the building there are tenants with partitioned rooms. Can anybody help us on this?

What floor are you living? If you're on the lower part of the accomodation, chances are, it might be a leak on the riser (Water pipe). Check if there is a Toilet above that spot. If there is, you cannot do a thing unless you chipped-off that pipe embedded in the concrete and replace the pipe. Some houses uses substandard pipes which can't hold a pressurized system. The bad thing is, if i'm not correct, then that would be a leak from the waste pipes. (is it smelly?)

It's the typical Qatar rubbish of construction standards. Live with it, or leave the country.

Lots of people have been reporting split A/C units on the forum, the first photo may suggest you have a split A/C, could that be the cause of your problem?
