LAMP User Group - Anyone interested?

Nigel over at All Abroad is doing some great work in trying to setup a Qatar Perl User Group. We had a nice chat over IM and think that a LAMP (Linux Apache MySQL PHP/Perl/Python) may be a better option since there would be more people who would be interested.

So, the question is - would you be interested? Basically, it will be a good way for technies to get together, lament about the evils of Microsoft and provide help to each other solving LAMP related problems.

We could even throw a Linux installfest (damn, it's been years since I've last been to one).
