La Villa Real Estates - Maintenance Service Department
The air conditioner in my bedroom stopped working last Friday and despite several calls and promises they haven't yet appeared at my doorstep. So I sent them this mail this morning. Yet to get a response!
Dear La Villa Customer Service Department,
Let me start by thanking you for enlightening me.
Of course I understand that you are helping me to reduce my power bill by not repairing the air conditioner in the bedroom, the light or the plug point. You are also helping in saving energy. Very laudable effort on your part to reduce global pollution. I must understand that if I am in Doha, I must get used to sleeping the heat. Thanks for the valuable lesson.
I appreciate your concern for my health too, as I have to sleep on the couch, not because I had a fight with my wife, but because you do not want me to suffer from back pain in future during my old age due to sleeping on the soft mattress. So very kind of you.
I wish to thank you for helping me understand the new meaning of service standards and priority. I have spent many years in the service industry and thought I knew all about SLAs or Response and Resolution times. I now feel empowered after learning from you what service actually means. I always thought that mean time between call and response should be as low as possible and based on priority accorded. But I was so wrong. I now know that for a service provider, like you, it is actually the other way around. Not responding actually helps a greater cause, of health, pollution, savings and not letting your clients get too dependent on creature comforts of life.
Thanking you from the bottom of my heart once again for enlightening me on these important life altering issues.

Customer service is a joke. Not sure if there is a place where one can complain for stuff like this.
Their motto: We not happy until you're not happy.

I guess you are right Shaiju. The demand outstripping supply has created a seller's market and customer service suffers.

This is a common fact. Most of the people in customer service department including the management level are half literate and half civilized. They don't bother. They don't care about the customers.
