Kitten to Good Home

I rescued this emaciated tiny kitten that was dragging herself around a few days ago. I bathed her and have been feeding her warm milk from a bottle. She now lives in my villa and has become accustomed to and is comfortable with people.

As I live alone and am leaving the country in a few days, I need to find someone who'd take good care of this little pussy.

If interested, please leave me a message. I can deliver her to your location.

Doing very well. S/he is a cute little thing and seems to have adopted me as her mom. Runs to the door with those little legs when I get home and quiets down when I let her snuggle in my arms. If I wear wide-bottom pants, she tries to shimmy up my leg under my pants! Relatively, very energetic for a little thing now that she's got some nutrition in her.

Want her? :)

Nope, sorry! I had no idea about the "no cow milk" thing. I just did a search after I read your comment and learned about. I've been feeding her cow milk. I tried chicken kitten food too but she doesn't like that.

She is very tiny. My guess is also more than 2 weeks but less than a month. She was dragging herself because I think she was famished. She's doing better now. Even though her legs are still wobbly, but when I come home and she hears me she tries to run to the door from her hiding place which is usually one of my shoes!

She definitely is very curious and way more energetic than the first day.

I'm going to look for kitten milk when I go out in an hour and I'll be taking her with me too, as I've been doing to keep feeding her.

Neutering is quite expensive in Qatar. Males can be up to QR500 and females up to QR800. The ministry vet will do free vaccinations and neuterings but they aren't as fantastic as the western vets (the cat comes home purple from antibiotic spray!).

We always have kittens at the shelter that need a couple of weeks in a foster home to fatten them up or keep them until they're old enough to be rehomed. With kittens (and puppies) we only foster out the ones that really need it and then as soon as they are healthy/of good weight/old enough, they come straight back in for rehoming. We've found it really difficult to rehome from foster homes as most people come to the shelter to look at them all.

If you're interested in fostering, please come down to QAWS any afternoon except Wednesdays between 4pm and 6pm to meet our little ones and talk to someone about whats involved :D

Looking at the photos I'd guess that it was just so young that it couldn't walk properly. It still looks quite unsteady on it's feet. I'm guessing it's 3-4 weeks old maximum.

The kitten formula can be bought from the vets if you decided to adopt/foster the kitten :D It looks old enough to start eating meat but still needs formula for a while longer as well.

is the kitten injured?I'm asking since you mentioned it was found "dragging" itself. If no one else gets back to you,I would be interested.BTW- are you feeding it the "kitten" milk that Chelsea mentioned?

Please make sure that whoever takes the kitten is aware that it still needs kitten milk and must NOT have cows milk.
