This morning I asked my son who is studying in 3rd standard and now a days doing very poor in his class tests, that who gets A1 in all tests?First he said nobody but only sometimes a girl Zeba.I asked him that how is she in talking and by that I just wanted to encourage him to ask her that how much she studies at home so that he can feel that ok how much other kids work hard when he himself waste all his time on cartoons on tv now a days as well as I wanted to know whether she is arrogant or polite. My son replied to me that "She is having tonsils now a days so she dont talk at all.Heeee Heee
It shows a clear difference between a BOY and a GIRL...HAHAHA
kids are funny, but boys especialy hard if we leave them studying by them self, we have to st with them!!
I would like to share a very nice poem by Khalil Gibran appropriately fits for this thread.
Your children are not your children.
They are the sons and daughters of Life's longing for itself.
They come through you but not from you,
And though they are with you, yet they belong not to you.
You may give them your love but not your thoughts.
For they have their own thoughts.
You may house their bodies but not their souls,
For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow, which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams.
You may strive to be like them, but seek not to make them like you.
For life goes not backward nor tarries with yesterday.
You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth.
The archer sees the mark upon the path of the infinite, and He bends you with His might that His arrows may go swift and far.
Let your bending in the archer's hand be for gladness;
For even as he loves the arrow that flies, so He loves also the bow that is stable.
hahahahhaa such a nice answer
Congrats Santro:) he is so intelligent. :))
two weeks before the exam starts, i take back PSP and Sony from my son and told him going out of home during exam days not allowed, if his marks was not good then No PSP and No Sony till the final exam, now he is trying hard from himself

A very well thought of response. Oh and this is flu season so I hope lil Zeba gets well soon =)
Thats a smart answer!
Santro.. if you sit with your son wont he study more? Boys are very playful... if we dont sit with them and create interest in studies they wont show much interest... and limit his TV/play time..
Heee Heee
