Can somebody suggest are pre paid mobile (of Mumbai) will work in jammu and Kashmir.

Plan to visit in July 2015.

If it's prepaid it will not work.. And if it's postpaid it will work easily.. I am myself from Jammu and Kashmir working here in Doha..!!!

Your Mumbai sim will work till Punjab only . in kashmir it will take 2-3 days to activate a sim so better to arrange a sim card in advance or get one postpaid card with you..
