KARWA TAXI'S RUDENESS :(

By FIFTEEN

Yesterday afternoon, while driving on my way home, there is this KARWA taxi who's trying to stalk me wherever I go. When I've reached Najma Area just in front of gulf cinema, he was as if a crazy man trying to hit my car.

Hey KaRWa administration, is that the way your staff behavior while on the road? Could you please brief your staff regarding the proper driving and behavior while on the road?

This is an example of recklessness from your part. I hope that you'll do an appropriate action and approach with your staff about this!!!

Britexpat - that I don't know. Perhaps, this guy is some sort of a SPY. Well, for everyone's info. "I don't care and/or bothered myself about anyone's business" because I am leaving a "CLEAN-GOOD" life. An intervention will start from me if that was an official task and/or if it concerns me and my family.

Actually, I am not generalizing all the KARWA drivers nor give you the impression that they are all bad. My point here is that, this guy is risking one's life as if someone is hiring him to do such thing. Don't get me wrong, this is not some sort of paranoia. If you are a very cautious person, you can easily differentiate if somebody is just behind you and driving normally from the one who's driving and there is an intention to harm you.

Anyway, I hope that these occurrences will not happen again. Just be cautious and attentive evrytime. :)

The problems with the Karwa drivers is their attitude. Most of this guys must not have had even a bycycle back home and here they are put in charge of a new model car with all the fancy gadgets and this drivers are under the impression that Karwa has provided the car to them to do what they want. Giving them a increase in salary or incentives is never going to change their way of dealing with their passengers.

Drive around Salwa Ind Area and you can see the result of the bad driving, there are many yards full of 000's broken karwa taxi's. How do Karwa hope to have a profitable business without incentivising drivers to care for the cars? Good luck to the new entrants to this business!!

My experience is mostly positive from the airport. In aother areas, if I don't like the driving I ask them to slow down or I get out! Simple.

However, in the Industrial area, they use saloons like 4x4 and take any shortcut they can -kerbs, dirt, potholes etc. I guess the contracts they have force them to maximise the opportunity to earn enough to pay the taxi rent.

Yesterday, I saw the worst- the guy deliberately swerved off the road to try to hit a stray dog (Ind area again)!

Next time this happens to you whether Karwa or not simply take the car plate's no. and report it to the police and the driver will be heavily punished by the police. DOn't report anything to Karwa themselves because its completely pointless the whole place is a wreck and they need to reconsider the whole business.

Its a horrible company with horrible drivers & managers.

They don't know how to do anything, they drive like crazy accelerating too fast then braking too damn heavily, they are never on time and their cars always stink, they sometimes fart while passengers are on board. UNLESS the drivers are from Africa you are going to have a very bad experience with those ridiculous drivers.

This comes from a 4 months 2 times per day bloody Karwa user.

You should have noted his taxi number and complained to Karwa as it is the problem of that particular driver and not to be generalized.

I hope you weren't driving with some MP3 player ear phones in your ears ...he may just be trying to draw your attention to something.

Yes, Yes, if you have a mobile with a camera, use it fast, The Karwa head manager is a Phillippino, Mr. Ronaldo or Orlando, so if you speak Phillippino you can say it in your native language.

harbie is right, do not generalize,

You should have gotten the car plate, and or called Karwa to report that driver.
