karwa taxis are they gone for a vacation or hibernating

hey where exactly are these taxi cabs are they in qatar or have they reached dubai or something the day before i stood for two and a half hours for a cab to go to a certain place and then one hour to come back.and yesterday almost the same time this is in the morning in the evening i didnt get a cab at all whats going on where are they???????.

Eco-savvy ...I know it too..Its that Biriyani hotel..lol. The drivers come there to have their lunch.

goaboy..That was in jest. The plight of a car-less Commuter is so bad in Doha that you can only joke about it.

Consider yourself lucky that you were not a old-fat-woman or a pregnant woman, or a sick-child...waiting for the cab.

Now there is at least bus. Before the Games there was not even that.

Karwa cab stand is at TAXI HOTEL (restaurant)located opp: Muntazah park

lol I always go there to catch a cab if I am going to airport

goaboy...2 & half hr is no big deal...especially when it is summer.

"You cant expect to get a cab the moment you step out of your house/office" said the minister for transportation.

Now a MOMENT could be 15 minutes or 150 minutes ...whats the difference?

You can get a good tan in that time!

Better still you could have watched a complete Hindi movie in that time. So dont forget to carry a portable video player next time.

And Mr. Dexter Barretto you seem to be from India (Goa) so why is the Country in your profile as "Qatar"?
