Just Doha Gossip?

Found this on another site whose identity I'll keep to myself. Just wanted to know if anyone had heard of this or knows the identity of the school. Maybe the poster is a member of QL?

"International Schools usually act in a professional manner with their recruitment policy, by attending a recruitment fair in major world cities (CIS, SEARCH etc), sometimes they use a reputable recruitment agency, especially if their school is in Asia or South America or set up a few interview centre for themselves, sometimes in Europe, Asia and/or the Middle East and invite candidates to attend. However, the director of one notorious Doha school, decides that having a ‘jolly’ is really the most economical way to recruit. In a number of separate ‘tours’ from December to April, he’s off to: London, Hong Kong, Brisbane, Sidney, Kuala Lumpur, Dubai, Edinburgh, Toronto, Vancouver, Kansas, Washington, Athens and Cape Town. This is not rumour, look at their website. Staff who have been in the school for 5 years have never received a salary increase, parents have to buy text books and the fabric of the school in crumbling. I think, “He’s having a laugh!” Don’t you?"

That was about something different, and anyway the school in question is in DOHA and the Dukhan school is a free school ie no charge to parents, not a penny.

No, I was saying that I have it all planned out, I know when I am going to leave. Nothing would keep me here after that as it will be time to move on.

Anywhere I'd rather go to Doha if there's socializing to do.

I have no inkling at all as to the person having a 'jolly'. But I would bet on it being one of three schools. Although I could be wrong.

TES is the website of the Times Educational Supplement, an educational about UK education which is a weekly publication. I have seen it in Jarir I think. A lot of teachers go to the 'staffroom' which is a kind of chatroom to ask about schools worldwide and gripe about their jobs, etc. It can be quite entertaining! _______________________________________________________

It's a legal thing, I don't want to name the website but safe to say its a UK site and part of one of the leading World Media Empire's subsidiaries.

The reason no names are mentioned is so that it cant be 'pulled' from the site. We know it's in Doha and the info is on the school's website, I just wondered if anyone knew which school it was; I'm just too lazy to trawl school websites.
