2.45pm, passed Muntaza Signal and saw this. My husband drove and we were at the red light opposite.

that picture is just in front of our project, but that intersection is the Rawdat Al-Khail intersection and not Muntaza Signal (although you are right because that intersection is C-Ring and Muntaza).

Muntaza intersection is the one between this intersection and Ramada intersection. Even labeling of roads here is somehow confusing! (Is there a difference between calling it signal and/or intersection?)

these people drive here like this is their country...

brought that old bad habit here...

never learn how to adapt to international environment & respect the local law & other people...

may be they think there're a lot of them (same group/country) here that it becomes like their hometown.. & can do anything as if it is at home..

stay away from these trucks my friends. these trucks are not properly maintained. i once witnessed one of them wheels drift away from one of theses trucks while it was running along that new industrial road. luckily traffic was not heavy at the time and no one's beside the beast.

seen twice, car crushed by a big and long container truck by the qatar national library roundabout and a pick up truck at this same muntaza signal.

...really scary!

I didn't think the big trucks could be on the road at 2 pm I saw them the other day by Riviera and the cop was pointing to his watch at the truck drivers, I think it was to say they are not supposed to be on main roads at that time. They are sooooooo dangerous I give them a wide berth others jump in front of them which is dumn as their brakes are not so great with the heavy load they carry.

Good point Xray ........... had it been us, you or any other car, it would have pushed us half way across the junction with probable dire consequences!!!!

And we know it happens.

People really need to learn the rules of driving. Mostly people in Qatar thinks that cutting off someone is like eating popcorns. Yesterday at the Andulas Petrol Station Signal an arab guy in Subaru tried to cut me off but i didnt him the way and he almost hit me on the right, then he got mad at me & starting touching his head and did some weird hand action.
