Joke/Serious issue?

Two German children - aged five and six - have been stopped by police from eloping to Africa to tie the knot in the sun, reports say.

I think its a lovely story. It shows a very active imagination from the children, nothing more. Thankfully no harm came to the children thanks to the responsible actions of the Tram Inspector/Driver.

I dont think we can necessarrily blame the tv here. Nearly all the books I read as a child involved adventure, foreign lands and travelling.

Its kids being kids.

My only concern is the parents didnt know they had left.
