even though if you receive a friend request you can reject it !!!

But there is another option to close the "Friend Request' button thru 'Account'.

But if someone like to be anonymous on FB-QL, one can still create another user ID (Same as QL) with new email ID and join the QL-FB as we are here :-)

There are several ways to hide your real identity :-D

Speed..Fb is only for my family and friends .i dont want to share it with strangers.and much descent than QL.

I received ADD FRIEND requests just bcoz they saw my (restricted) FB profile. It's enough that I get Add Buddy requests and "freinsheep" PMs from weirdoes here on QL but on FB?

FB is where I could keep track of my friends, siblings, relatives AND MY KIDS.

I am a QL fanatic...but I prefer separating FB from QL as I like my anonymity here(for those who don't know me personally).

Click of 'Account'((right hand top menu) ----> 'Privacy Setting' ----> 'Search' in the search UNCHECKED 'Public Search Results' .... You are done :-)

qatarisun...if you've already deactivated the search option in your accounts' privacy settings, no one would be able to search you out. But if this is not the case, you can be tracked by anyone.

The time I joined yesterday.....the number of fans was around 365...it's going to cross 1K soon... :-)

... almost 200 new members joined coz of my 'Marketing' for QL :-) ... LOL

681 fans of QL on FB and among very few are known to me, all other were stranger.

... there are a lot of good people on QL who I would not mind sharing my FB info with, but also many that I would not want to share my info with at all. I will keep up with what's happening on QL though.

Would I not loose my privacy by joining "QL on Facebook"? I happen to like anonymity provided by QL. So, no "Ql on FB" for me.

You must have noticed on FB that they keep pooping the names of your friend's friend who are not in your friends list of FB.

So if one of your friend is a member of QL on FB, his friends will be able to see your profile. You can restrict your info. to be displaced to strangers but you cannot hide your profile pic and the name (the name you use in FB)

Anyone can see it.

On FB it is very difficult to hide your identity unless you change your name and profile pic.

many people are adding me on fb, i wonder why and its all from QL fans...

speed, ok, i mean QL group. My question is: in order for others to see my real name and my pics, should I join any certain group on FB? Is it upto ME to let others to see my info? Or it is beyond my power, and every jerk from QL, who is my opponent (not to say enemy) on QL, and who I don't want to be disclosed to whatsoever, can actually see my real name and my photo???

my pics change from picture to picture... that one is over 4 years old now... you wouldnt recognise me from it:-)

I tried to post something on FB-QL, it did not appeared on FB main page instead the topic appeared on my FB home page :-(

I find it good for QLVG since we are open to public, we can upload the pics of our QLVG events so that our members can view. I have several albums of almost all the past events/ campaigns on my FB account.

Also PITSTOP has created a Group called "QLVG-FBVG" on FB. We announce all our events and update photos in the Group.

Lets suppose that all facebook links will be an open up privacy of personal information of fans. If the QL avatar is linked then good idea to know who post what

don't disclose on the net. As monument said, she is right at one point that if you are in any of your friend's network, FB will be keep popping your ads on the walls to add you as a Friend since you are in one of his friend's list.

Yes, you can create another profile with QL on Facebook.

But to be honest with QL on FB soon it's purpose will die !!

FB QL group, is exactly because of that.... to many people will see your pics;-P

Good Speed...now how about QL Page on Qatar Social?

I get a feel that either FB is screwing QL or its the other way around.....cant be the second.

Just my opinion though ...I know lots of guys are going to hate me for it...
