I have visited Indian Embassy for some work, it is used to open at 8.00Am, there was no waiting space 60-70 people was standing on the road under HOT SUN my God.. there was no parking.. i was struggling for parking for more than half hour.. when i went inside.. there a Guard was guiding me to stand here & there in queue for checking papers at a Kiosks.. there was no numbering machine, no waiting area... any how after waiting for one & half hour in queue got my number, then i got apportunity to sit for my turn.
People are jumping on the windows even they own their numbers... after one & half hour my number arrived, even 5 people were standing before me on the window even they don't have their turn..
Then i call guard what is going on here?.. why people are standing on windows without their no... then guard politely Sir no body is listening.. you go to window i'll help you he dispersed some people...then only i submit my papers... it was a horible moment for an foreign embassy, they are treating people like labours.
I have lost my 1st half of the office just to submit some papers..
My request to Indian people is to raise issues to Indian Embassy to improve their services.. even a small shop services is better than this.

What is ICC? is there any other Embassy?

TOKKY you are right, Indians are largest in Qatar as i heard 1 million, for so much people there was just one window each HORRIBLE , just imagine how many people visiting embassy daily and how they are providing services over that they are asking heavy price.. even Qatar govt is asking QR 10 for PCC and they are QR 75.. its too much..its robbing.

Just imagine when you waste your half day there in queue and your half day pay deducted just for submitting some documents..

I request all 1M people don't bear these services, must come & stand, raise voice and i'm sure it will improve..

Now days is Fashion of revolt and bring change in the world. SO DO IT..

Well guys do you expect it to be like the Singapore embassy or some european embassy when the guys visiting the Indian embassy are not willing to follow any rules, stand in line or shut of their phones. The last time I was there, there was this mallu guy going berserk on the phone in the middle of the reception hall and some others pushing each other and fighting to get ahead to get the tokens. Well to be frank the embassy in its present form and shape is just the right set up for the people it is supposed to cater to.

its really high time the Indian embassy moves to a larger space..the post is right ..its really bad system they have in place there..ud think they would move given the large population of us Indian expats n the high fees for attestation of documents,etc..wonder how the labourers manage..
