Incident Near Irani Souq

Yesterday, when I was about to reach on to my car parked Near The Irani Souq Car Park, I noticed a police Man (Probably a Pakistani) who was questioning a Car Driver (No idea for what reason) by the side of the road, then all of a sudden a woman Driver (Probably a Qatari) in a Black Dodge Charger using a mobile phone and speaking, approached the policeman and Honked her Car Horn As if it was the end of the World.!!

She put down her shutters and blasted at the policeman who was just standing there blocking questioning the Car Driver feeling embarrassed...!! Everyone around was laughing and surely the policeman would have felt humiliated.. GOD..!!

The point is there was enough road space for her to creep in... yet I think Things did not work out with her....

Point : Irani Souq Car Park, where the policeman stands under a hood, which looks like a mini Roundabout.

I wonder where the laws of using a mobile phone and driving went...? And of course Humiliating a police officer is serious crime in our country (back home), but here I think the laws are only for Ex-Pats. Great...!!

Most police constables are not Qatari. Most police officers are Qatari.

lets put things in perpective.. their general nature might be bad! but on this occasion, the policeman should have enough sense to not stand in the middle of the road to either chat or interrogate anyone.. the manner in which the lady reacted might be not appropriate but the root of the problem was the policeman!

My understanding is that all the police officers in Qatar are Qataris.

I mean really, who would take a Pakistani/Indian/Filipino cop seriously? Certainly not the Qataris or Arabs.

Well, since the first time I heard such stories, now I guess it is becoming a kinda routine here. Personally, I have never experienced such incidents, and I really don't know what would be my reaction. I hope I will not have to go through such things 'cause I know I am not the one who will accept to be humulated either publicly or in private. Though, I think getting stuck with such an incident with a Qatari woman just gets things a bit more complicated, because whatever this woman will say everybody will believe her and not the other guy. What is amazing in this story is that the guy is a policeman . This is just incredible. Imagine if all people do no more let Qatari humulate or yell on them, things will certainly change. Dignity is something more precious than Money . Actually, Qatari guys are not that courageous, and I have seen some of them having such a coward attitude aftera firm response from the other side.

Some Are wise and Some are Otherwise....

huh!! definetely a qatari women, same as guys they have taken power on their hands...disgusting......

for an example, ladies are same at police clearance report place, at the first floor...they just cant pronounce "resignation' word, but yelling like a hell when poor people do not understant the correct procedure or didnot submit all required papers....

so that is about some of their behaviour....
