Send workers home if temperature hits 30C, say MPs who fear heatwave will cause accidents and deaths ( in the UK that is)
Would have been great if we could be sent home when temp > 40C...well can't have everything, can we?
jade03 Most of GCC implements the restricted working hours for workers working under the sun between 11:00 to 15:00.
Even the culture here for the Office and Public Buildig, Malls and is between 16-23C
How would you like to work in -20C or walking to work in that Temperature! So there are good and bad of every place.
Most buildings in the UK don't have climate controls to cool down, just to heat up! That's because more of the year, there is no need for air conditioning. In the same way that most buildings here don't have a heating system because its generally not needed.
GCC makes every one fit for the worst of temperatures & pays nothing for the might of these workers in the open who work out there, rather they are bullied and paid by delayed salaries.
On the contrary all coming from 16 - 23 C work cultures receive hefty packages sitting in a/c offices.
The official working Temerature in the office and public building as per the regulations in the UK is between 16 to 23C. It means that buildings and public places should have climate control to maintain these temperature!
Lols painther a typical usual answer...:)
remain in UK, under 30C, who asked you to come to 50C.
