I wanna see ghosts in Qatar

Is there a belief in Islam about ghosts? Do they have haunted houses here amidst demolishing each and every old building these days?

Romanian cops have closed a vandalism investigation that left local houses in ruins by concluding ghosts were to blame.

Families living in Lilieci reported windows broken, bicycles flying through the air, objects moving on tables and candles blown out when there is no wind.

When they complained they were being hounded by evil spirits to police they were laughed at.

But after officers saw the evidence with their own eyes they filed a report saying that ghosts were to blame.

Mircea Hadimbu, 68, who says his house has now been completely wrecked, said: "The windows started to break one by one. I saw two bicycles moving through the air on their own."

His sister Melentina Bocancea, 78, who lives nearby, added: "There were cups flying around the house and candles I lit were blown out as soon as I put a match to them even though there was not a breath of wind in the house."

A police spokesman said: "There were bottles and things flying around. I did not know what to dodge first. We can find nothing to suggest it was anything other than what the people claim."

A priest has been called in to perform exorcisms of houses in the town in the hope that the attacks will finally stop.

"I've seen some before, I remember one that had some kind of lizard reptilian face that was multi-colored, and the color of her face would change depending on what angle you're looking at her from. She had blonde hair and red eyes also. I could see the beauty in her creation, but in a different way from the beauty of a woman, but the same in actuallity, its hard to explain. I've also seen a a little jinn that looked like a short big headed alien with the big black eyes and the hot air balloon shaped head. Other times i've seen shadows walking in my room while my body is sleep but my mind is somewhat awoke. One time i was half sleep and I noticed this ugly bald guy was sleeping in my bed, so I kicked him to wake him up and I told him that he could sleep on the other side of the room, and then he got so mad and squeezed my face to where i couldnt breathe and i couldnt move, but I never panicked, I just said azu billahi menash shaytan irrajim, and then i was able to wake up....."

some muslims believe there are two types of jinn: one type being an evil jinn which is not of human origin, and the second being a component of a human being and what can sometimes be seen as the ghost of a person after death. Ghosts, then, are often described negatively, as natural deaths are not believed to be a reason for negative ghosts to exist. It is believed that people who are killed (and thus their lifetime abruptly being shortened), remain as negative ghosts with ill-intentions. It is believed the 'ifrit (or ghost) leaves the body at death, and either remains in the cemetery after a peaceful death, awaiting resurrection, or in the case of people who are killed (whose life ended abruptly), wander this earth where the person formerly lived.

I've been readin' the dictionary for soooo many times and I can't seem to see the similar definition between a vampire and a ghost.

I can tend to swap vampires with a rolled newspaper, but I can't do it on a ghost...
