how much life worth?

It happened on the day of Eid (Sept.30). Although there was no work that day,we passed by my hubby's office to check up some things. As I was waiting outside the office, there were few kids playing. One girl riding with her small bike. They all dressed up like going to some occasion. I was told they were of Pakistan origin. It was windy as I recalled. These kids were frolicking around until one boy (about 8-10 yrs. old), I noticed, went running after something towards the road. (mind you, it was a highway, C-ring Road in-front of QIT). As it was a holiday, so no rush with some cars but obviously there were still many vehicles on that day. This boy ran from one place to another trying to catch that thing on the street while the wind keeps it blowing too. Until the cars coming from the signal went pass just to almost hit him but still he seemed not to noticed the coming of vehicles! A van, unknowingly almost hit the boy by his side, came into screech, then stopped to see what's been going on. The boy stooped down under the van's front bumper and picked up the 'thing' that he's been trying to catch, then went back running to his playmates beside the road. It was a QR5 bill!!A nervous driver of the van pulled over and checked if the boy was OK. Of course! the boy was ok,he got his QR5 & some playmates to play with.

It was time that someone talked about this.

I have lived here for the past 2 years, and this in one of the things that shocks me more.

I Could never understand why they allow their children to behave like that.

I always joke that they "Let them grow free", but actually they will grow only if they are very lucky.

Also I have to disagree, we are not talking only about asian children, also arabic ones; western ones not because most of them are hidden inside compounds.

life in general is worthless if you dont why you are living that is the subject of your thread.

for the content, i have seen many children in this situation specially children from Asia (india & Pak) i dont know what is wrong with these parents and why they cant stop the kids from the roads.

Poverty is not for the sake of hardship. No, it is there because nothing exists but God. Poverty unlocks the door -- what a blessed key!
