HOW TO LIFT BANNED
Hello,
I just want to ask how to lift banned here in Doha. I finished my 2 years in my present company and i found new opportunity from other company, but my boss don't want to give me an NOC. So as per Qatar Labor Law, i will be banned for 2 years. Please help me guys what is the procedure to lift the banned, even i will pay for it.
Thanks so much for your help!
if the employer refused to issue an NOC, then, it is either two years waiting period or being stuck with your miserable condition...the choice is yours!!!
well in that case, good luck to me and to those having the same condition..
Anyway, thanks guys for the clarification..
There is no way to lift the 2 year ban. Going through the human rights (lol) office in Qatar would probably take you more than 2 years, and you would have almost zero chance of winning.
They don't call the sponsorship system slavery for nothing.
try to convince your manager ..........beg or bribe...whatever you can do...otherwise theres no other option. i dont suggest human rights , labour courts and all. you will spoil the thing more. i know some of my friends had same problem but the bribed the manager to get the NOC. so i suggest either beg for noc or bribe for noc but dont fight.all the best
jArs, Duration of contract has nothing to do. If you are Sponsored by a company or person you should either get the NOC or wait for 2 years to work again in Qatar
LP, lol!.
Agreed with Abraham Lincolin
Welcome to slave country!
I'm just confused.
ok lord, let say i'm on your option #1 and i have finished my two years and the duration of the contract is just for 2 years but my company will not issue NOC even if, do i still have to wait for a 2 yrs ban in order to get another job here in Qatar?
oufff this is a long story...well according to what happened to some friends, if u go to human rights the first thing they will ask u is: has the company brought u to Qatar or u were already a resident! if its the 1st option then, u have a looser case, u should beg ur manager for NOC..if its the 2nd option then u have to fight along with human right against ur company, it might take up to 6 months with 50% chance,,,fu....hell
at the end of this messing farce, ur company approval is a must.
There is no offical way to get the ban lifted if your employer will not give you an NOC. You are stuck my friend until they change the rules here or your employee decides to grant your request.
