well, i can tell u, apart from the resell value it is not a bad car. it is on the top 10 list of the cars that rarely break. but for Doha, a/c could be stronger though.

I think the notion of "re-sale value" is often overstated. Korean cars are generally cheaper than the equivalent models from other countries. If the re-sale value drops 30% after one year compared to say 20% for other cars, it wouldn't make much difference, would it?

Well irrysa, I found Hyundai's AC better than my Nissan Pathfinder.
we have 2 hyundai. Santa fe and Matrix. Santa fe is 7 yrs now, and matrix coming to 5 yrs. So far both car running well and trouble free.

its a good car..and for re sale value is not that much but if u can maintain it nicely u can get a good price..
