heath ledger as best supporting actor yay!!!

Loved Heath Ledger ever since I saw him.....was devastated when I came to knoe he died....but I'm so proud dat he's won a posthumous oscar....He will always be remembered.

Meh, the Oscars are really just advertising for designer duds. I think he deserved it.

I agree it's well deserved, but if they gave it to him because he died then I think it does matter. Just like it matters that they didn't give it to him for Brokeback Mountain because it was a controversial film.

Though they do seem to have got over their homophobia since they gave Penn best actor for Milk this year (when Rouke probably should have got it, but perhaps he's too controversial himself!).

He should have won it for Brokeback Mountain, and the only reason he didn't was because it was a controversial film. Whether he would have won it or not if he'd been alive doesn't matter, what matters is that's it's well deserved.

I had the same question in mind tallg, you know I have watched the movie several times and now I have the dvd I have never been hoocked to a movie like this before, I beleive he would have won it anyway.

The question is, would he have won it if he was alive?

Got to agree with you there... I remember the original TV series with the Riddler and Penguin.. Classic and shmaltzy..

Though I have to say, EVERY Batman baddie has been a much better actor than Batman!
