I resolve the problem the next day when i brought it to garage, we found out that i need to change the fan temperature(things like that). I'm really scared of this as i am so damn of this things.
Apple, if your car is overheating it means there's a problem with the radiator (leak, blockage, damage). There's no danger of the car catching fire or exploding.
Cars catching fire are usually the result of electrical faults. Sometimes it could be a fuel pump or combustible material reacting with the heat.
The temperature gauge in cars is a measure of how efficiently the radiator is cooling the engine. Some sports cars come with an engine oil heat gauge.
Never let the temperature gauge reach the max or you might be looking at an expensive engine repair job. Switch the engine off immediately. Also, you need anti-freeze in the radiator, not just water.
My car temperature went up and reach the max., I turned it off and stop for a while, dont know what to do, i was in the mid of the road. I put water, still the same, just imagine the cars behind me honking as i blocked the road. Though, we ladies is labeled as better motorist than men(GT news yesterday), but when it comes to emergency like this, few ladies only aware of what to do?
Simple as that? lol! I dont have it at home, I only have my first aid box. You know what scares me is the explosion of the car, can it possible to happen when the car overheat?
No, Red Pope, that car was where I said it was, close to the FFC and nowhere near Ramada. I took the picture. Go check. If it's not there the scorch from the fire will be.
Apple, it's not hard to use an extinguisher, but now that you've brought this up everyone needs to know that and the basics of first-aid.
Do everybody knows how to use a fire extinguisher, when incident like this happen?
I asked this question because I remembered when I went on safety training to obtain driving licence inside work site: They teached us on driving a car w/ a certain speed limit, headlight on, checking the car daily before going to work site & MUST your car have a fire extinguisher. BUT when I raised my hand to ask how to use it? The instructor didn't answer me! eh!
That car was the one that caught fired on the intersection before subway close to ramada. I recognize the son of a Bi$ch. It was the day, I told myself I will never use my fire extinguisher in no one's car after trying to help this one. Yes the owner was an Expatriate.
The owner just stood there with his arms cross watching everyone helping him. I told him" I hope you got insurance mother", his replied: was up and down with his shoulders like he did not care.
The fire started in the front of the engine in the battery compartment.... I know this because you could see the battery acid falling in the street underneath the engine. The car got pull out of the way by the fire department.
That day, I SAW Qataris, Indus, Americans and Brits help out as a team.
Except the owner, know he has no wheels and out of luck!!
heat stroke..... i was also going to home last day in the afternoon after my ofic at 2:00...my car temperature goes up than normal...as i live far from doha....i just noticed few km away from my house...i was really surprised that what is this....becoz everyday i check my car oil and gas..i discuss it with my friend after reaching home...he said look at the heat of the sun..its becoz of that...

I doubt it has anything to do with the heat. The Daewoos are just reboded Opel Vectras and Astras from the 80's. So would have gone through stringent climate tests before mass manufacture.
More likely the car had an electrical fault or split fuel line.

Apple, it's really easy. Especially the small ones in cars which are very light. Basically it's break the tab and point and press.
Check one out, it's fun.
I keep one in the kitchen at home too. And a fire blanket.
First Aid is not a problem for me, but really i dont know how to use fire extinguisher(Don't laugh!);)
And if God forbid i'll face such problem, i may just look at my car and run as fast as i can as i'm scared it explode!

How does it happen? What probably the cause of such? I want to know can it happen to any cars?
Yeah, nitrous oxide boost.
I think the sillier one was the Racer. They had no shame when it came to naming them.
Maybe it was a modifried !!!!!!
Not sure how. Seeing that the hood is up I guess it might have started in the engine.
You're right, it's an Espero.
How did it catch fire ? By itself ?
It looks like an old Daewoo, that might explain it
