Hat's off to teachers!
Aside from jobs in the fields of medical, military & constructions, I found those in the field of education very fascinating. Why? Because it takes a lot of patience, perseverance and dedication to be a teacher. Imparting a knowledge to students is an art that only the gifted few can share. I am no teacher, but I feel so proud of those teachers who are not selfish of sharing their time to students. Mind you, some of them are underpaid especially in our home country. But for those whose heart is in education, money is not a hindrance. In every school activity they are ever-present and on-hands to carry out the tasks. I remember during Christmas parties & Graduation days mostly that I see them all smiles & laughs.(hmmm..maybe because vacation is soon coming...hehee!)Anyway, if you are a teacher reading this, a thank you for being a - sister/brother, mother/father, a friend to your students. You never know how lucky you are in making a significance on some of your students' life.:)
"For life is better spent is shared with love".
...............and although my birthday is tomorrow, I just felt like it came a day early!
It is very interesting teaching Qatari kids, I must say. Teaching any kids is endlessly fascinating and rewarding, but here in Doha it is more...interesting than most place I have taught in.
