Man accused of murder in road rage dispute

A 29-YEAR-OLD man is accused of murder following a road rage incident in which he allegedly fired shots at another motorist causing him to fatally crash his car.

The court was told that the accused became incensed when he was flashed to get out of the way on the approach to the Fort roundabout shortly before midnight on July 29.
As the victim tried to overtake, the 29-year-old deliberately blocked his path and the two Qatari drivers wound down their windows to hurl insults at each other.

my his soul rest in peace and may the murderer get the maximum punishment in order to serve justice to the family of the victim, and to set an example to other foolish, arrogant & moron young men.

As for your comment, nicaq25; No! You are mistaken. Such things happen here!

While in the west, you only get killed if you are from a different race!

As for your question, Andrew; Hunting of 4-wheel drivers! You dont need forests for that. It's easier to find them in open sandy areas!

Many (wealthy) Qataris go hunting, Arien, and many possess weapons they inherited from their fathers and grandfathers who had them when there were no laws at all because Qatar as a state did not exist yet (1972).

If the 'chasing' was only the reason for that shocking incident, then everybody should be careful. If a national is dare to shoot another national, they never mind to shoot any other person whom they think 'teasing' them.....Even though normally expatriates do not entertain 'chasing' or any stunt with cars in the road, we should be careful to even 'look' at the other motorists, even they did wrong to you as even your 'look' may provoke them to do anything they want........

I thought it only happens in other countries, but here the most deadly weapon for a taban driver is the middle finger.

Hmmm.... thinking twice before getting with an pissing fight.

May he rest in peace.

So sad to read about the incidents. Actually the way you drive show much of your manners. The better you drive the better your manners are. Thats all I can say.

My heartiest condolenses to the deceased family.
