Time sure flies fast. I thought they celebrated this months ago and then another one. Like I need it now.

The funny thing last year was their celebrating their 61st anniversary. If India's independence was August 15, 1948, it should be 60th anniversary. So why 61st?

The letter reached the Indian port on time via a speedy British clipper, but then was put on a donkey, rather than express mule on its way to Delhi..

yea letter posted by the british postal service in 1947...reached india..still using the british postal service.....in 1948 ...

Who said India got independence? We are still ruled by Corruption, Poverty, Religious Riots even in the 21st century. We are still not Free from our corrupt Politicians......Britishers were better atleast in comparison to our corrupt politicians.....
