yes, it's certainly good to remain philosophical in the circumstances. It won't stop me from coming up with great ideas in the future, LOL.

Sweet poem...nice that you were credited too. I've not been so lucky with some of my ideas but hey, isn't copying supposed to be flattering? :-)

hahahahah i just did it and found a poem i wrote ...

i dont know when i wrote it or how it got on this site... but some how my poem is here and it is credited to me correctly...

after looking at it closer i noticed that it is using my old nick name bobbo... which means it was probably when i was in highschool or college... so that means some one posted this for me ... weird

call them luxury items.

Pretty basic, no suspension, no brakes and bald tyres.

well mr. dweller i really wish i can help you on that but all i know about cars or racing to that matter is that i have a 6 CD changer nice sound and i can open and close my car with touch. as per what you were saying and if am not mistaking, al Fardan group will most propably be the one organizing similar things if any!

al Fardan is all about luxary things like fancy boats, cars and up town things that are simply out of my league.

Was the biggest single class (ClassV) in the world in the early 90's. I think some of the yachts are still there (Glenn V's). From what I understand, it's a commercial venture where the rig is hired.

I don't think there is a formal club and am certain they are not affiliated to FISLY now.

The Trans Qatar was the only race in the world ever held on an open public road and attracted pilots from around the world.

Is there still formal and regular racing in Qatar?

well mr. dweller am neither a san nor a land yachts person but ill take your word for it. althoug alot of people do enjoy those activities in qatar or so i've heard. what you think differently?

By dweller• 20 Aug 2008 17:16

done it before.

An e-mail that I sent to FISLY was published in their newsletter un the heading "amusing".

I only sent it so they would remove Qatar from the International List of Sand & Land Yachts
