GOODBYE TRAFFIC CONGESTIONS

By Vivo Bonito •
Not in Doha.... Passengers taking the first ride in Dubai after the official opening of the metro network yesterday. The metro network is expected to cut dependency on cars and ease road congestion, becoming the first city in the Gulf to introduce rail as a commuting option. Trains will carry passengers along the Red Line, the first of two metro lines to open. A Green Line is scheduled to enter service in summer 2010.

around 1.2 millions in Dubai; it will contritbute very little.......check news again once schools reopen in Dubai post Ramadan. Good effort and a first broad step by any Gulf country. This would be more helpful once they will start inter-Emirates railways.
hopefully sometime in the near future... smells were yet a big issues i guess so to push through a mass rail transit...:D
hahaha,, coz its almost impossible to relate your Subject with Qatar. Traffic Congestions in Qatar can never be goodbye until these roads are kept like that.
