Goodbye Qatar
So after only 14 months I'm leaving Qatar! My journey here had some ups and many downs :) At the end I chose to cut my losses and begin a new journey.
Had many firends here through work (ofcourse - where else) and actually I gained some experience, both on work and cultur level. Except for 2, All the locals I met here were very friendly and helpful, something that I did not expect after visiting Kuwait!!! I have been all around the gulf and I rank Qatari hospitality 2nd to UAE :)
It was nice to meet other people virtually here and exchange stories & information. Big hand goes to Qatari for this good website. I will come back here from time to see to check on you and see where Qatar is heading. Who knows, I might come back :)
At the end I salute each one of you and I hope things get better for all of you.

I wonder how many more of us will be using those words unless something will be done by the govt to rein in these soaring rents.
