Line is still dead for 15 days from the date of purchase.

Vodafone call center agent promised on 11 August 2010, at 9:17 to come back to me within one hour.

Now more than 97 hours have passed and the counter is still ticking :)

Look guys, Vodafone is one of the best mobile services in other countries including India. Due to some technical issues they are unable to provide proper service to its customers in Qatar and mentioned by UKEng Vodafone is the right service in a wrong place. Neither I am not using Vodafone here nor I an Employee of Vodafone. They are still using the signal towers of QTel and due to their legal battle with Qtel regarding the entry of Virgin Mobile their performance is really not good.

dont misguide the people... service would not be suitable for you, but those using are consent with the fluctuations...!

if you any suggestion ... drop into the vodafone box or write them a letter to complaining about ur signal detonation!

First I purchased a "Freedom 110" service which is automatically withdrawing from my Visa card account.

It wasn't very bad actually, just I have to make every call three or four times because the line is disconnecting every time.

After few months, they stopped withdrawing from my account, and no recharging as well ...........

After many trials to repair this problem I requested to convert to my account "RED" ... which is prepaid card service....

Still having poor quality problem, but fairly its being better from day to day

and the price competitions between voda and Q-tel made a sharp reduction in prices.

they are more keen to pass judgement over you than help you out... if we didn't make a mistake, we wouldn't have to call you freaks in the first place!!

Usually Vodafone agents ask you questions much more than you would expect from CIA or FBI or KGB.

I used Voda for one time, loaded with 30 or 40 I think, just to talk to a former friend. After the load was consumed, I never bothered to reload. Why? I can only use it to call another Voda. To call other provider and oversea, your guess is right, doesn't work!

I would say Qtel the worst because yesterday I shifted my sim to new nokia E71 and for testing i pressed web and was connected to Qtel Mozaic in no time. Out of enthusiasm I visited youtube and played music video for a minute or so and ended up loosing QR50 from my credit!!! they said it downloaded 5MB QR10/1MB..

Sent the complain through email to Vodafone call center and cc to ICT Qatar.

The email was sent on 9 August. Someone from Voda call center called me on 11 August. Asked a few questions and the informed me that he will come back to me within one hour.

26 hours have passed and he did not call :)

Sent another email to Voda call center and cc to ICT. Now am waiting.

Stay tuned guys :)

Bought online a new line. Received it on 1/8/2010. The line failed to register automatically.

Since that time we are trying without any result to get the problem sorted out through the call center. What we used to get is only false promises. The replies were:

* Hopefully tonight the line will be activated

* Hopefully within 24 hours the line will be activated

* Oh we are having problem with auto-activation. Need the purchase order number and the number on the back of the sim. Will register the request manually and will come back to you soon (nobody came back)

* Will relay the problem to the technical support and they will take care of it.

The line is still dead :)
