Finally someone else saw what I’ve seen longtime ago and brought the story up.. Really this was annoying me:
Read the article at the Gulf Times: http://www.gulf-times.com/site/topics/article.asp?cu_no=2&item_no=263303...

but have you noticed also that there is no traffic jam around that clock, maybe should be be put in other round-abouts.

airport signal... yesterday morning I saw one long trailer crushed one 4x4 under it.

Almost everyday I see accidents on the Airport signal (near Qatar Airways office).

I think the casue of most of these accidents are the last exit from serivce road which connects to the main road (very near to the signal)

People who wanted to take U turn has to pass all the 5 lanes which is very risky because the vehicles are coming in a high speed specailly if the signal is green.

I suggest that Traffic dept should arrange to close that exit.

Regardig the Clock: When 1st time I landed in Doha, I saw that clock and according to that clock I changed the time of my wrist watch, LOL ... till today whenever I see that clock ... I just laugh :-D

Yep, the one on the roundabout near the VIP entrance to the airport is screwed too. Just what must visiting dignitaries think when this is the first thing they see after leaving the airport!
