Gone with the Wind!

BlueBull
By BlueBull

Life is beautiful! Indeed. In life, we come across people and become close to some and remember some for life. The ones we remember form a part of our life memories and they come back to remind us of the wonderful times we spent with them or sometimes they haunt us with nightmares. This weekend I was remembering all my old friends and I was thinking of getting back in touch with them and I found a a few of them through mutual contacts. It was a good experience getting back in touch and catching up. I suggest you all to try this sometime.

BlueBull –You have made me walk down the memory lane…….I remember my best friend for years…,we were really close , we always shared our joys ,sorrows ,hopes and fears…..But somehow lost each other in the course of life.We haven’t seen each other in 8 years .I tried to track her down in diff ways, but failed…..I can’t wait for the tomorrow when I would find her….Maybe I would run into her one day ……I am waiting for that day.

Some spouse may not be there if you burnt the pan the fourth time...:)

Agree with brit...'One has to make an effort to cultivate and keep friendships', and that requires understanding an individual independently and not with a general outlook that this is how people behave so everyone must behave so and must have the generic likes and dislikes...some people have very refined tastes when it comes to friendship (as UK would say few good books, & few good friends) and can do the invisible act faster than one can think of...:) I would also add an another important aspect purely based on my personal experience, give the other person the most talked about, 'space'.

Tinks, There are no please no thank you in real friendship, if you find a person who understands that and his friendship will be unconditional..:)

There can only be acquaintances here not friends. And Tinks I was talking about Spouse, at least I am sure tht he will be with me and vice versa no matter what.

Must admit, that the few friends I have made whilst working in the GCC have become true friends. many have moved back to their home countries, but we still keep in touch - albeit irregularly.

One has to make an effort to cultivate and keep friendships.
